Shaun Sanders
An idea that is not dangerous is unworthy of being called an idea at all.
Oscar Wilde
Born in 1960 to a family of farmers in the North Island of New Zealand, Shaun’s ethos lies in the do-it-yourself attitude that typifies the self-reliant, free spirited Antipodean. At the age of 6, his family moved to the city of Wellington where his parents indulged their love of the performing arts. Spending his formative years in theatres and at rehearsals, it is little wonder that Shaun envisioned for himself a life as a musician. In pursuit of that vision, he left the shores of New Zealand in 1979 on a quest of self discovery. After honing his craft for twenty five years, Shaun was pleased with the aesthetic results of his creativity, but not so much with his fiscal state. In 2005 he enacted Plan B, which required a return to school. He is currently a third year English major at UCSB and plans to complete a Masters Degree so as to teach Junior College, where he hopes to focus on development of critical thinking skills.
Shaun is a member of the Textones Team.
