Jennifer Housel, known to her friends as Jenny, is a second-year English major with a specialization in Literature and the Culture of Information. She loves books and currently works at Davidson Library in the acquisitions department. Her extra curriculars include volunteering with the family literacy program, delegating in UCSB’s Model United Nations, and playing tennis. She is especially interested in journalism and print media, as well as the incorporation of newer media in these areas. Jenny loves pop culture and reads snarky blogs daily. Other areas of interest include music, feminism, folk art, surrealism, and internet civil liberties issues, especially concerning free-speech and privacy rights. The most beautiful place she has ever visited is Monument Valley, Utah.
